Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be University)

Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be University), Mullana, Ambala has been offering variety of undergraduate courses encompassing diverse fields including Engineering, Management, Hotel Management, Computer Applications, Law, Pharmacy, Medicine, Dentistry, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Physical and Life Sciences. There are approx. 6400 students from more than 25 States/Union Territories in India and approx. Approx. 650 International students from more than 21 Countries in approx 30 undergraduate courses. All UG programmes have well-defined education objectives and outcomes developed in consultation with all stakeholders. Moreover all courses include new themes and provide flexibility of electives which foreshadow key topics to be developed further in subsequent years. A lot of stress is laid on Project based learning and overall personality development of the students under teacher mentors. 

MMDU has established various centres of excellence in collaboration with BOSCH, National Instruments, Texas Instruments, Google for Education, CISCO Academy, SAP Academy, T-Series StageWorks Academy (For performing arts like Acting, Singing, Modeling, Instrumental & Dancing) and Meril. University has Business Incubation Centre and Campus Business Park for promoting entrepreneurship among students and attracting new start-ups.
