UNIBEhas been characterized by a culture of innovation and a mission to improve graduateeducation in the Dominican Republic. Through the years, UNIBE´s graduate schoolhas increased its graduate and continuing education programs, offeringsolutions for specific country needs while training professionals with globaland intercultural skills.

Since 2007, UNIBE's graduate programs have grown and to dateinclude 30 graduate programs in arts and architecture, education, behavioralsciences, law, business, economics, among others. The behavioral sciencesprogram has a community service clinic on campus in which clinical practicesare conducted. Of these programs, 11 are dual degree programs with universitiesin the United States and Spain.

TheGraduate School also hosts a Continuing Education and a Continuing MedicalEducation Department. Through its continuing education program, students mayobtain certifications and diplomas in a variety of areas ranging from ProfessionalProject Management and Corporate Finances, to Child Protection. The continuingmedical education program offers several clinical programs, public health, andhealth sciences research programs. UNIBE is also an American Heart AssociationAuthorized Training Center.

UNIBEoffers two doctoral degrees, a Doctor of Medicine degree and a Doctor of Dentistrydegree.

TheDoctor of Medicine program is offered in Spanish and also as a bilingualprogram in English and Spanish. The Medical School is accredited by theDominican Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology. It is in the InternationalMedical Education and Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduatesdirectories. It also has the license of the Florida Education Commission forIndependent Education and is recognized by the Medical Board of California. Ourstudents and graduates are eligible to sit for the USMLE qualifyingexaminations.

Theschool of dentistry offers in addition to the Doctor of Dentistry degree, arange of post graduate specialties that include endodontics, orthodontics,periodontics, pediatric dentistry, and oral and maxillofacial surgery program.UNIBE hosts two onsite dentistry clinics that serve as training centers for theDoctor of Dentistry program and its postgraduate programs.
