University of Opole

The University of Opole offers over 50 majors in the Polish and English languages (hello.uni.opole.pl), including law, medicine, psychology and theology. The university comprises 11 faculties lead by deans. The faculties organize and offer degree programs (bachelor, master’s and doctoral) within their units and cooperate to offer interdisciplinary programmes.

The University of Opole has experienced and enthusiastic teaching staff working with students in beautiful and modern buildings, well-equipped classrooms and laboratories, using the most modern equipment, such as the Virtual Heart application, used by our medical students, and the Centre of Medical Simulation, where the medical students practice medical procedures on world class simulators - comparable to those used in training by NASA astronauts.

The university attracts foreign students from all over the world, giving them the unique opportunity to study in an international setting in the heart of Central Europe. We offer 9 study programmes in English: in Economics, Sociology Spacial Studies, and Language and Literature. We also offer an English course for those who want to improve their English before starting their studies in English (minimum B2 level of English is usually required). For those who want to learn about Poland before deciding to study here, we recommend the Summer University, taking place from July to September.
