Based in Ariake Koto, Tokyo, Musashino University was founded by Dr. Junjiro Takakusu, a prominent Buddhist scholar. To this day, the university is uniquely associated with the Hongwanji Jodo Shinshu School of Buddhism. This means students can expect a nurturing environment, designed to help them learn but also to build their strength of character and leave them feeling enlightened. The university is featured in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2018 for art & design.
