Why choose NKU? Last year, the Entrepreneurship Institute was named one of the nation’s 25 best entrepreneurship programs by Entrepreneur magazine and The Princeton Review. The sports business undergraduate program was one of the first of its kind in America. The College of Informatics is one of only three in the nation. The Haile Digital Planetarium, which opened in 2007, is the first laser-projection planetarium system to ever be installed on an educational institution’s campus anywhere in the world. NKU is one of seven institutions in the world to have such equipment. The other institutions are located in Tokyo, London, and Los Angeles. Salmon P. Chase College of Law is the largest law school in Kentucky, with an enrollment of more than 500. The school also produces the most lawyers in Kentucky and the second-most in Ohio. Students taking the Kentucky bar exam for the first time achieved a 94 percent pass rate in February, and that was 9 percentage points higher than the pass rate for all first-time takers. Chase students also exceeded the overall pass rate by 7 percent. The Kentucky bar exam is administered twice each year in February and July.
