Opened in 1979, the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul is located in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul in Brazil. It’s a public university, with seven campuses in Campo Grande, Aquidauana, Corumbá, Coxim, Paranaíba, Três Lagoas and Chapadão do Sul. A range of scholarships and financial aid programs are available for financially vulnerable students, including the MEC Financial Aid Program and the Promissaes Scholarship. The latter is available to foreign students from poorer countries.
