UNIVERSITAS MEDAN AREA

Universitas Medan Area (UMA) is one of the prestigious academic institution inIndonesia located in Medan, North Sumatra. The name of Universitas Medan Areawas taken as a tribute to the struggle of defending the independence ofIndonesia by fighters 1945 around the area of Medan which is better known asthe "Medan Area Fighters"

UMA has two campuses, Campus 1 at Pancing and Campus 2 at Setia Budi. The main Campus occupies a green area of approximately 14 hectares. Campus 1 accommodates all lecturing, practicum and research activities except faculty of economics. Campus 2 also accommodates all lecturing, practicum adn research actuvities except faculty of agriculture and biology.
